When an Engineering Professor from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology was in need of a way to improve his use of a white board, he turned to his dry erase markers. He wanted to make his class more standardized in terms of what colors were being used to show different things, such as forces, free body diagrams, and moments. However, the problem soon became trying to manage holding multiple dry erase markers at one time and dealing with the caps of the markers.
